Kimbo gained his fame on the internet. He fought in many illegal street fights that were posted on YouTube on ther video sharing websites. Most MMA fans think of Kimbo as an overhyped EliteXC creation that has no MMA skills. They may be right, but he has generated a great deal of interest in the sport. Kimbo is trained in MMA by Bas Rutten.
