EliteXC Heat Kimbo vs Shamrock Re-cap
The first match was Murilo "Ninja" Rua vs Benji "The Razor" Radach.
What a great first round. Benji was landing bombs and Murilo took them all and then landed some bombs of his own. They both knocked each other down about mid way through the first round. The round ended with Murilo going for several submissions
The second round started much slower. Murilo landed some nice knees to the body and Benji was landing a few shots. Murilo went for a take down, there was a scrum, and they both got back to their feet. Murilo went for a another big knee and slipped and fell. Benji caught him on the chin with several big shots for the TKO by ref stoppage at 2:13 into round 2. Unlike some of the other EliteXC stoppages, this one was a good stoppage.

Good first round. Kelly went for the take down, Gina defended. They traded some some shots, and then Gina cut Kelly with a knee to the face. The first round ends with a flurry after Kelly was going for another take down.
The second round starts quickly. Then Kelly pushes Gina up against the fence. Kelly actually landed several good shots. Then Gina gets off of the cage and picks apart Kelly until about 25 seconds left in the round when Kelly gets a take down and works a little ground and pound until the end of the round.
Kelly rushes Gina at the start and presses her up against the cage. Kelly works for the take down for about a minute and a half. The ref restarts and Gina lands some nice shots as Kelly tries to pin her against the cage. Gina went for a choke and almost got it. Gina pounds Kelly for the last 20 seconds of the round. Gina wins by decision after three good rounds.

Roy pushed Andrei to the cage going for a take down. Andrei went for the take down and Roy reversed it and ended up on top. Roy moved to side control and went a submission. Bullshit restart as Roy was in position for kimura. Roy got him back to cage. Andrei landed a big knee to the belly. Ref restarted it again after a lull in the action. They both trade shots for the rest of the round, with Andrei landing some nice leg kicks.
Andrei got caught early in round 2, but Roy started looking tired. Andrei started picking Roy apart and hit him with a big shot that stops the fight. Roy is upset, but it was a good stop. Andrei parades around with a Tito flag except his is half American/Belarus.

The fourth match was Jake Shields vs Paul "Semtex" Daley
The first round starts with slow. Jake shoots for a take down and Paul defends it and land some nice leg kicks. The trade a little and Jake gets a take down. Jake passes to side guard and then full guard very quickly. Jake starts to land shots and it looks like Paul has no answer. Jake went for arm bar near the end of the round, but Paul block it and ended up in Jake's guard and landed some nice elbows.

Paul got out of it and is starting to land some shot and stuff take down attempts. Jake got a take down and straight into full mount. Jake landing some elbows and hits. Jake got the arm bar and wins by submission at 3:47 in round 2.

The Main Event Kimbo Slice vs Seth "The Silverback" Petruzelli(fighting for the injured Ken Shamrock)
Seth will be the first fighter that Kimbo has faced in his MMA career not coming off of a lose, but he is a little guy compared to Kimbo. Kimbo has 30 pounds and 4 inches of reach on Seth.
Kimbo didn't touch gloves. The first round starts and Seth demolishes Kimbo in 14 seconds. The hype machine is over............
