WEC 39 Brown vs Garcia Fight Results
The first fight of the night was absolute trash. It was 15 minutes of my life I wish I could have back. Luckily for the WEC, all the other televised fights were really good. I almost forgot about the first fight. Jose Aldo continued to impress and Ricardo Lamas looked impressive also. Damacio Page completely throttled his opponent and won in just 18 seconds. It was great to see someone come out with guns blazing.
In the Main Event, Mike Brown proved that he is for real. He was relentless once he had Leonard hurt until he won the fight to maintain theWEC Featherweight Championship.

Main Card Bouts
WEC Featherweight Championship bout:
Mike Brown vs. Leonard Garcia
Early in the first round Mike Brown caught Leonard Garcia with a big shot that knocked him down. From that point forward, Mike applied relentless pressure and ended up submitting Garcia for his first successful title defense of theWEC Featherweight Championship.
WEC Lightweight bout:
Bart Palaszewski vs. Ricardo Lamas
The first round of this fight had everything a great MMA fight should have. We had take downs, submission attempts, ground and pound. Lets hope round 2 is just as good. Round 2 was just a good. Bart is starting to get beat up a little, but he is hanging in there and still trying submissions. Bart needs to end the fight in round 3 to win it. Bart came out aggressive looking to end the fight, but Ricardo got a big take down at the midpoint of the round and ground and pounded his way to victory.
WEC Lightweight bout:
Rob McCullough vs. Marcus Hicks
I am not even going to write about this one. This was a horrible fight. They say that styles make the fight, I hope I don't see these two styles against each other ever again. There was a little action in the second round, but other than that it was just a bad fight. Rob McCullough wins by majority decision.
WEC Featherweight bout:
Jose Aldo vs Chris Mickle
Jose is a very impressive fighter. Chris showcased his toughness in this fight, but he was just out classed by Jose Aldo. Jose Aldo wins 1:39 seconds into the first round by TKO. Jose should be getting a title shot soon.
WEC Bantamweight bout:
Marcos Galvao vs. Damacio Page
Wow. Damacio came out guns blazing and scored a KO win in just 18 seconds.
